The High Court is set to make its decision on the controversy surrounding inclusion of Kadhi’s courts in the Constitution. Lady Justice Roselyne Wendoh said she would deliver her judgement in the case filed by a section of bishops on May 24. In a notice at her chambers, the judge, who was expected to deliver the judgement yesterday, stated that she was sorry for any inconveniences caused. In the case filed in 2004, the bishops want the Kadhi’s court expunged from the Draft Constitution on grounds it would not benefit those who do not profess Muslim faith.
