Nairobi, Kenya: One person killed, several families rendered homeless after fire burnt down houses at Kismayu Slum in South C, Nairobi.
At the same time fire destroyed crucial records at Kabete vetlab, Nairobi as over 15 offices were burnt down. The cause of fire is yet to be established.
