Kenya, Uganda veterinary officials in joint vaccination drive

Kenyan and Ugandan veterinary officials will carry out joint vaccination drives along the common borders in a campaign to control livestock diseases and improve livelihoods of pastoralists.
The officials meet in Kitale to deliberate on the drive that is funded by the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (Igad).
Principal Secretary in charge of Livestock Andrew Tuimur opened the joint discussion that is also attended by elders from Turkana and Pokot.
