A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an attack on a young girl in Glasgow.
The nine-year-old was struck on the head with a bottle on her way back from a supermarket in Govan.
Police said the girl was walking alone on Craigton Road at about 18:00 last Friday when the incident happened.
The girl was helped by members of the public before being treated in hospital for a head injury. The man was expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
