War on terror day 5

By | October 21st 2011
Kenyan forces have taken positions in the coastal town of ras kamboni as they manouver ahead of the planned assault on kismayu. The fifth day of operations, however, saw little movement in central somalia where heavy rains have halted operations. Meanwhile, african union and somalia government forces launched another attack north of mogadishu, taking more territory from the terror group. So far, three kenya army soldiers have been injured in the offensive. Al shabaab is believed to be forcing conscripts to join them and fight the kenyan brigade pushing its way towards kismayu. Here is ktn’s dennis onsarigo with details.
