Plans to rest the late Matungu MP Justus Murunga are underway despite a court order barring it

Plans to rest the late Matungu Member Parliament Justus Murunga on 28, November are underway despite a court order barring it. A parliamentary ad hoc committee charged with planning the burial yesterday toured Murunga’s home in Makunda to prepare for his final send-off. The committee was led by Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali and his Ikolomani counterpart Bernard Shinali. The suit was filed by Agnes Wangui claiming that they have two children out of their secret relationship with the late MP. In her application she alleged that Murunga’s family had conspired to lock her and the minors out of the funeral and burial arrangements.
