Star Wars actor Andrew Jack dies from coronavirus aged 76

Star Wars actor Andrew Jack has died at the aged of 76 from the coronavirus

The star, who was also a dialect coach, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, at a hospital just outside of London

Jill McCullough who is his representative confirmed Jack’s death noting the star died as a result of complications developed from the virus.

‘He died this morning of COVID-19 at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey," Jill said.

"Andrew lived on one of the oldest working houseboats on the Thames, he was fiercely independent but madly in love with his wife; also a dialect coach; Gabrielle Rogers," she added.

He also revealed Jack's wife is stuck in quarantine in Australia having just flown in from New Zealand last week.

 "She was unable to see or talk to him at the end of his life and there is a chance a funeral may not be held," said Jill

The actor was working as a dialect coach on the new Batman film.

The filming was shut down a couple of weeks ago.
