CORONAVIRUS SCARE: Nairobi ranked sixth riskiest city in Africa as coronavirus devours

Nairobi’s populations are at high risk of contracting coronavirus.

This is according to research done by experts in population mapping at the University of Southampton that ranks Nairobi sixth among African cities whose population stands a risk of being hit hard by the deadly disease.  

Bangkok in Thailand is the city at the highest risk of infection, based on the number of air travelers expected to arrive from the worst-hit cities in China.

With Asian visitors streaming in Nairobi, Kenya is now regarded as a high-risk country by researchers who have tracked the spread of the deadly Covid-19 based on the number of flights and connections with countries at the epicenter of the virus
