Atwoli answers Wetangula and company over 'controversial' Bukhungu Stadium meeting | PUNCHLINE
COTU Sec Gen Francis Atwoli has affirmed that the Kakamega January 18th meeting of Western Kenya leaders will go on as planned, even as a section of leaders have vowed to disrupt it. According to Atwoli, leaders opposed to the idea have got it wrong, insisting the meeting is not convened to discuss about Mulembe Nation leadership or 2022 politics as they have alluded. The COTU boss, instead, says that the meeting is meant to discuss the way forward with regards BBI report. Atwoli has extended an olive branch to the opposed leaders led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, inviting them to the same meeting that will be held at the famous Bukhungu Stadium.
