The journey to Canaan is still on, Kenyans assure Khalwale after claims that his life is in danger

According to a tweet on November 18, Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale’s life is in danger. Khalwale reported that two men claiming to be from the flying squad stormed a hotel where he was staying.

He proceeds to say that the men, who drove two hours refused to identify themselves. The men accosted him at around 9:30 pm and stalked him till 2 am.

@JBoinnet, @FredMatiangi, fellow Kenyans, my life is in eminently danger! Last night, at 9.30pm, men in two cars claiming to be from flying squad, stormed a Nairobi hotel 2 arrest me. They refused to identify themselves 2 hotel authorities but stalked me upto 2.00am this morning!

He, however, did not state if he reported the incident to authorities although he tagged Inspector General of the National Police Service of the Republic of Kenya Joseph Boinett and acting Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Internal Security Fred Matiang’i.

This incident has come in the heat of political tension as National Super Alliance (NASA) and its supporters are accusing the government of malpractices including police using live bullets on them

This tweet evoked reactions from Khalwale’s followers with many taking his sides and encouraging him to soldier on despite the interruptions;
