Caroline Mutoko's advice to President Uhuru- Resign and hand over the presidency to Raila Odinga

Former Kiss 100 Radio presenter Caroline Mutoko, has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign and hand over the presidency to National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.

On Friday 1 September, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the petition filed by NASA's Raila Odinga and ordered the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct another election in 60 days. This is after the Court cited irregularities in the August 8 poll conducted by the IEBC.

According to Caroline, Raila Odinga seems to be having a blast with all the political drama going on and President Uhuru Kenyatta seems to be indulging him. She went ahead and said that everyone, including Raila, knows that the president has the numbers but the NASA leader will continue to be a pain in Uhuru's political aspirations.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, Caroline told President Uhuru,"He is enjoying being the monkey on your back...you got to get him off. If this does not matter to you, spare us the drama and pain. Let him have it!"

The former Kiss 100 presenter continued to talk about Uhuru's campaign team and this is what she had to say;

"A lot of things might not be in Raila's corner, but if it came to checking off the boxes do you have an amazing ground team, ground team not those clowns who hang around you and whisper in your ear….yes you do. Do you have a deputy who is very clear that he is in this to win…yes you do. Do you have an amazing groundswell of young people who get going…yes you do. So why can’t you do your part because everybody else in your team is trying the very best to do their part to make sure that this happens.Because here's the truth once again Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga is many things, he's not stupid.“

She later went on and passed a piece of advice to president Uhuru Kenyatta- "Why don't you just resign and give this thing over to Raila Odinga... because we've got to get moving,"

The repeat presidential elections is scheduled to take place on Thursday 26 October 2017, according to a statement released by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati.
