Protests in Kisumu
SUMMARY
  • Kenyans are angry after police use live bullets in parts of Kisumu, Kibera and Mathare following the ended Kenya's general elections.
  • Reports by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights show up to 24 protesters have been killed by police in the past few days.

Abraham Misoi: I just don't get it. The recounting was done in broad daylight after the electronic results were challenged and there were no changes. The loss by NASA was clear and I don't understand what their supporters are rioting about. This is shameful because no vote was stolen.

Musa Wa Musa: You surely do not get it. Where did you attend the broad daylight recounting of votes? We should all condemn the rioting, though.

Musa Ariwi: The IEBC transmission system worked perfectly. This was proved by the final results that were based on the legally binding forms 34As, 34Bs, and ultimately the 34C. There was hardly any variation between the Results Transmission System (RTS) and the final results that were declared.
