How to make Nasa a stronger movement

Any keen follower of Kenya’s political dynamics will agree that the National Super Alliance (Nasa) is a force to reckon with.

But Nasa might fail terribly if it continues to focus on capturing the presidency from the Jubilee coalition and fail to encompass other issues affecting the country. It must develop a bigger agenda for Kenya.

Nasa must put its house in order and not only focus on mobilising voters in its strongholds which have hitherto shown voter apathy during previous elections but also convince its supporters to come out and vote come August 8.

Second, it should reduce verbal attacks on Government and concentrate on presenting itself as the alternative government by promising solutions to a myriad of challenges facing Kenyans such as hunger, high cost of living, drought and unemployment.
