The bridge that Kenyans must build

In Kenya, they parade themselves as learned friends, the lawmakers. I truly understand that we don't have lawyers, we have liars. It is very unfortunate to see people who the entire country expects to fight corruption and make laws that will help curb extortion of taxpayers' money now they are supporting, feeding, and sleeping with the dragon' mtu wetu syndrome very dishonorable.

In Kenya, we don't have leaders, in my opinion, we have looters abusing power vested upon them by the locals to serve the interest of Kenya and its people, the honorable member that's their title in parliament.

Is there a clause in the Kenyan constitution for public participation that dictates the area elected MP/ Senator/ Governor/ MCAs or CS to be answerable to their subject? How often does this take place and whose mandate is to ensure it is done accordingly in an ethical and transparent manner.

That they must compile annual PPT reports based on the focused priorities and development done in the respective locality, Budget allocated by the national government, what was spent, the outcome so that the public can know and understand where their taxes and how it is spent?

The big question is?

When will the Kenyan people stand up to speak with one voice, not thinking about the tribe, religion, and political party when it comes to fighting corruption in our country?

For how long will the Kenyan courts wait to make the right decision based on the evidence submitted by the EACC to jail the corrupt. Give sentences that will make the culprit return the looted funds.

Why are the citizens with petty offenses being detained rotting in jail waiting in limbo for fair judgment is the judicial system selective or compromised to ignore the problem? No. Lawyers or groups of most learned friends creating a forum to do "pro Bono" services to help free the innocent ones or to become their voice, is this work left to Human rights activists?

Now, one of their equals loots hundreds of millions or Billions they gang up in large numbers through courts to free them, negotiate for minimal penalties, conflict of interest, true but that bill in parliament won't pass. It will be visited by empty seats, zero concentration lack of quorum, I don't need to go into details to Evaluate this extreme irresponsibility.

When will the day be for all Kenyans to stop thinking that the person who gives handouts is the best candidate to offer leadership rather than to listen keenly to their policies and evaluate them based on their competency.

When will Kenyan elected parliamentarians walk the talk to serve the people not to make them slaves of poverty but to empower them to become kings and queens in their own thrones? Economically, that's the most symbolic thing to do to transform their lives, not to intimidate the people into worshiping them as gods.

Does society understand the true meaning of leadership?

Leadership is service to the people

Just begin to meditate in your own way about who is a leader then link the two with your vote before choosing one whom you believe in to represent you, the one who understands your aspirations.

Is the society too vulnerable to be enticed with goodie bags during the elections, does this happen because the society doesn't know what they are worth?

Mr. Politician, an excellent leader, creates the people to manage the system, build a culture of young, smart county professionals, pass the torch on glowing in their glimpse of hope.

Does society understand the main dangers of corruption?

To my understanding, it is endangering economic and political stability.

Corruption mainly refers to bribery as embezzlement, misappropriation of public funds, accepting a bribe in mediation, offering a bribe for a recommendation, accepting a gift without transferring it to the public, possession of the unexplained property, concealing overseas bank deposits, illegally distributing state.

This is where state functionaries, taking advantage of their position and power, not only illegally transfer ownership of property, but also compromise the reputation of the civil service.

What happened to civic education? Can it be poised in the new curriculum as one of the major subjects to educate the youth to change their perception, mentor them on leadership and governance, to openly discuss what corruption is and its dangers in order to impart moral values in society?
