Spoken word artiste Mark Joshua Ouma popularly known as Teardrops on Friday, December 20, 2019, released the second part of King Kaka’s Controversial song ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’.
In the piece, the poet followed his predecessor’s footsteps and touched on different matters of national importance and the ills that he thought plague Kenya as a country.
King Kaka was quick to acknowledge the effort by posting part of the song titled “Wajinga Nyinyi Part 2’ on his social media.
The post was captioned “Wajinga Nyinyi Continues”
Some of the lyrics in the Wajinga Nyinyi Part 2 include;
“Madem wa Campus wanadedi RIP Sharon RIP Mercy Keino, Apart from ule governor wa migori, kuna mwingine anatu owe bado”
(Campus girls are dying RIP Sharon RIP Mercy Keino, apart from Migori Governor, theres another who still owes us)
“The rich also cry but so far ni sonko mmoja nimeskia akipiga nduru”
(The rich also cry but so far, I’ve only seen one rich man cry)
“Starehe tukona Jaguar moja tu na ni kama hainanga taa”
(In Starehe we have one Jaguar but it seems like it lacks lights)
“Vijana tuliinvent kugota juu tulikua hatutrust handshakes”
(The youth invented the fist bump because they do not trust handshakes)
This came exactly a week after King Kaka’s first part of the song titled ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ sparked conversations online.
