Nigerian blogger Blessing Nkiruka, who recently claimed that she built a 7-bedroom house after being thrown out by her husband, has admitted that she lied.

Through an Instagram post, Blessing apologized to her fans and admitted that she came up with the success story due to ‘mental pressure for success.’

Just days after she flaunted the house on social media, the alleged owner, Onye Eze, a billionaire based in China, reached out to her and bashed her for ‘fake living’ prompting the lady to apologise.

Blessing revealed that she was never arrested and that she took photos outside the said house since she has plans of building a similar one.

“I take responsibility for everything. I hate that I had to put my friends and everyone else who looked up to me in this position.

“Like everyone else I had goals set up for the year and one of them was to finish my house before my 30th birthday and it was a resolution I had laid out in public but because of certain reasons I couldn't meet up the dead line and that put me under a mental pressure for success,” she daid.

Adding: “I was impatient which led to beating myself too hard and I could have done better. I AM REALLY SORRY I LET YOU ALL DOWN...I know better now. I know not to go ahead of my victory and have small wins celebration.”

She advised those who face societal pressure to appease their ‘fans’ on social media to be patient as things will slowly fall into place.

“I had to experience a major meltdown to learn that patience is virtue. It’s only going to take a little time but the lines will eventually fall in pleasant places…I hope you still find a place in your heart to forgive, love me and accept me as the crazy happy girl you have always loved,” she said.

In her earlier post, Nkiruka had claimed being separated from her husband eight years ago left her broken and she used the pieces to make herself better.

“I picked up all the stones he threw at me to build myself. I became too strong and fortified. Yes, dreams do come true,” she wrote.

Her followers on Instagram have expressed their disappointment following the exposé, many labelling her as fake.
