VIDEO: Here is Kutuny’s message to “Madem na Machali” who are heartbroken

By Bosco Marita | April 28th 2019

The outspoken Cherangani Member of Parliament Joshua Kuttuny has added his voice on the runaway cases of murder over a failed relationship.

While speaking at ST. Stephens ACK Nairobi during COTU prayer day, Kutuny was taken aback to cases of the youths killing one another as a result of heartbreak.

He urged the youths to take it easy on a relationship and always sought divine intervention when their hearts are broken.

“Manze Mimi nataka kutoa ujumbe moja kwa maboy wa hii church na madem au mashore , hii story mnaenda chuo mnaanza kumadana muache. Mresh akileta ngori rudi church utafute mwingine (I have a simple message to the youths of this church. This issue of going to school and murdering one another over relationship should stop. If a lady rejects you come back to church and get another one.)”, said Kutuny.

His sentiments come at a time when youths all over the country have been unable to contain depression from a failed relationship, resulting in cases of suicide and murder of their ex-lovers.

Barely a month ago Ivy Wangeci, a sixth-year medical student, was axed to death by his ex-lover who reportedly could not handle a simple misunderstanding.

Currently, Naomi Chepkemoi, a third-year public health major, of Pwani University is fighting for her life after her boyfriend stabbed her for rejecting his money.
