This is the case of Evelyn Namukhula from Kamamega county who gave birth to five babies babies at the Kakamega General Hospital on Wednesday 13 March.

According to Citizen, the 28-year-old woman gave birth through caesarean section to three girls and two boys.


NamuKhula and her husband Herbert Wawire, who is has hearing disability now have a total of nine children.

In September 2018, a 28-year-old father of twins collapsed at the hospital after learning that his wife, Jacinta Mwihaki, gave birth to triplets.


Francis Gitau says he received the triplets with joy coupled with concern over how he would raise them citing the hard-economic times.
