Liverpool forward Sadio Mane scored an outrageous backheel goal in the Reds' 5-0 demolition of Watford on Wednesday.

But his manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he completely missed the moment from the match due to his view being blocked.

Mane put Liverpool ahead in just the ninth minute when his header beat Ben Foster in the Watford goal.

The Senegalese star then doubled Liverpool's advantage with one of the most outrageous goals the forward has ever scored.

Taking down a cross while unmarked in the Hornets' area, Mane is initially forced to backpedal due to his sloppy control.

He improvises brilliantly however and instead of trying to turn around in the box simply backheels the ball past a hapless Foster.

But it turns out Klopp never got to see it in real time.

"I didn't see the second one," admitted the Liverpool boss after the game. "The players were in my view. It was a backheel I heard but I didn't see it.

"I loved the first one as well. Jumping that high. in a new position, how he played in that position, that was exceptional."
