Jubilee MPs engage in verbal attack over Ruto

UREPORT
By Standard Reporter | February 15th 2019

Two Jubilee MPs yesterday engaged in a verbal attack with one of their outspoken colleagues over the political future of Deputy President William Ruto.

Trouble started after the Rift Valley lawmaker swore to do everything to ensure that the DP, does not succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta when he completes his term in 2022.

The legislator vowed that he is ready to lose his seat in the coming elections, as he fights to ensure Dr Ruto goes home.

His proclamation did not please his two colleagues who slammed him for taking his hate against the influential politician too far.

“We will mobilize our colleagues and ensure you also lose your seat. We rather be voted out but make sure Ruto ascends to office,” one of the visibly agitated MPs said.
