Ruto adds voice to claims of underdevelopment in Mt.Kenya

Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday commented on claims that Jubilee Party strongholds have been neglected in matters development by the President.

Through a series of tweets, the DP noted that the government, through the Big Four Agenda plan intends to improve the lives of all Kenyans and those feeling left out should use appropriate channels to air their grievances.

“Jubilee rolled out a comprehensive development agenda to transform Kenya in 2013. From SGR, 7000km tarmac roads to reform of NHIF & 4.6m additional electricity,160 New TIVETs and more; distributed EQUITABLY across Kenya DELIBERATELY. The BIG4 will build on this foundation. FACTS

He added: “After projects promised for decades became a reality under Jubilee many Kenyans especially Jubilee members understandably are asking us for more.

“This must be tempered with the reality of what we can afford. No region, community or Kenyan will be left behind now or in future.”

Ruto also urged Jubilee Party members to avoid negative talk that would undermine the party leadership.

This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta stated that he will not be intimidated by those claiming he is neglecting those who voted for him.

Speaking during the launch of the refurbishment of Mama Ngina Drive in Mombasa, the Head of State maintained that he will ensure every part of Kenya benefits from his leadership and those complaining should style up.
