A Cabinet Secretary surprised his friends a couple of days ago when he vigorously fought links to one of the Jubilee Party’s top honchos.

The man had been reported in a local daily as having been sent by the senior politician to deliver to Sh2 million to another politician who was in trouble.

But the outspoken politician came out guns blazing to set the record straight, saying he was never sent by the said politician in what surprised people within his political circles.

The incident raised questions of a possible rival camp within Jubilee, and that can cause one their seats should they be seen cozying up to the “other camp”.

In other news…

Is a Cabinet Secretary eying bigger things? That’s the question among his peers after the outspoken CS made it clear that he wants to mobilize his region to support the impending referendum to amend the constitution overwhelmingly so that he can bargain for an executive position.

What mesmerised his colleagues is that the man believes he has what it takes to be the country's next and third Prime Minister in the new dispensation!

His colleagues can only wish him well!
