‘Everyone is perfect, except for…’ – Jose Mourinho provides early Man United team news

Manchester United welcome bottom side West Bromwich Albion to Old Trafford on Sunday and Jose Mourinho has revealed which players will be available to feature against the caretaker Daren Moore’s side.

In his pre-match press conference on Friday, Mourinho told a journalist that he only needs four points to stay second and the derby win against Manchester City last week should set their hopes on course.

Ander Herrera is available after playing 90 minutes in the derby, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are also in line to make appearances since they picked up injuries.

Argentine shot-stopper Romero is the only player missing in Mourinho’s squad after picking up a nasty knee injury while playing for the national team.

“Everyone is perfect, apart from Romero. All the few players are ready to play," Mourinho confirmed to MUTV.

He went on to say that he was surprised West Brom were last on the log, given the amount of quality they have in their squad.

“I am surprised. The quality and experience of some of the players, the stability the squad, I am surprised they find themselves in this position,” said Mourinho.

Mourinho also talked about his transfer plans for the summer, saying there’s no need to give Belgian talisman Romelu Lukaku competition.

He also rebuked those who questioned Marcus Rashford’s failure to start in 11 of the last 16 matches, saying the 20-year-old is the only player in his squad to have made the most appearances since he took over.

The ‘Special One’ also stated that he has no pressure to keep all his players happy since only 11 players can start in a single match.
