Moses Kuria’s mockery statement to Wetang'ula after he was ousted

Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria on Tuesday 20 March 2018 said that he will volunteer to peacefully show Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula the way out of the Office of the Senate Minority Leader after National Super Alliance (NASA) Senators voted to oust him out from the position.

Moses Kuria narrated how he was stoned while campaigning in Chwele, Bungoma County during the August 8th General Elections but received a cold response from Wetang'ula after he complained about the incident.

Kuria said that the Bungoma Senator asked his boys to show him the way back to his home after he laughed at him.

“In the run-up to the August 8th General Elections, I survived a hailstorm of stones when I went campaigning in Chwele, Bungoma County. When I later complained to Moses Wetangula about this treatment by his goons he laughed it off and told me "Nilituma vijana wangu wakuonyeshe njia ya kurudi kwenu nyumbani". Today I volunteer to peacefully show Weta the way out of the Office of the Senate Minority Leader. Baba is doing this like a Bawse! He has been misused for so long. Loyalty is paid back in installments but betrayal is punished instantly. Go Baba Go. They have borrowed your wings to fly so high and then laugh at you from the skies, mocking your inability to fly,” Moses Kuria posted on his Facebook page.

The NASA senators had declined an invitation to meet Raila Odinga, to talk them out of kicking out Wetang'ula and instead went ahead with the vote at Parliament Buildings to replace him with Siaya Senator James Orengo.
