PREMIER LEAGUE FANS WILL BE SHOCKED: Andre Villas-Boas set to negotiate contract with top-flight club

Former Tottenham and Chelsea Manager Andre Villas-Boas is making a return to England in style.

According to The Sun, Villas-Boas, more commonly abbreviated as AVB is in talks with Championship side Sheffield Wednesday to replace Carlos Carvajal who has departed to Swansea.

AVB quit his job in China where he managed Shanghai SIPG in order to race in the Chinese long-distance car race.

Referred to as ‘The next Mourinho’ after his success at Porto, Villas-Boas came to England and managed two top-flight clubs before moving to Russia.

According to reports, Sheffield Wednesday’s owner Dejphon Chansiri has place AVB top on his priority list as he looks to bolster the club’s performance.

It is not known if the Owls will be able to pay AVB since he is known to be a big contract chaser.

He was sacked at Chelsea in 2012 before he replaced Harry Redknapp at Spurs in 2013.

He has also managed Russian heavyweights Zenit St. Petersburg.
