32-year-old Ashley Young made headlines last night after his brace helped Manchester United secure a much-needed win over Watford at Vicarage Road.
Young’s brace was the first one he scored for Man United since 4th March 2012, topping up a series of good performances for the Red Devils this season.
A low hard strike and a sublime free kick in the first half from the Englishman helped Jose Mourinho’s men close the gap on leaders and arch-rivals Manchester City to five points. Frenchman Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard rounded off a well-deserved win.
Football fans all over the world who woke up to the news that Young scored a brace couldn’t believe it, most taking to social media to congratulate the player.
