Edinson Cavani and Neymar disagreed on who was to take the penalty kick in a 2-0 win over Lyon
The incident is said to have boiled over and the club's president ordered a meeting with the two
The balance of power at French football club Paris St Germain seems not to have shifted in Neymar’s favour.
This is after reports claimed that a decision had been reached on who would be taking penalty kicks – Edinson Cavani retaining the responsibility.
In a 2-0 win over Lyon, The world’s most expensive player Neymar looked to have been feuding with Uruguayan target-man Cavani over a penalty – which the striker took and missed.
Reports also say that the incident boiled over, prompting a meeting between the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the two attackers.
The buzz on social media never died down, with some sports sites saying that the Brazilian had unfollowed Cavani on Instagram and asked for him to be sold.
Paris St. Germain are unbeaten this season and manager Unai Emery is bent on sustaining the harmony within the team as they embark on a new journey to secure an elusive Champions League trophy.
They were eliminated by Barcelona in the last two seasons, with Neymar being the star man.
