Ingwe started KPL campaign with a bang, beating Nakumatt. Gilbert Fiamenyo broke the deadlock with a lovely header few minutes before the break. The 24-year old Ghanaian did impress-scoring in his debut match.

Strikes from Marcello Ingotsi and Raphael Kiongera in the second period ensured Stewart Hal coached-side bagged all three points over the new side.

Kenneth Muguna’s goal in the first half made all the difference after 90 minutes, as they hosted Zoo Kericho in Kisumu on Saturday. K’ogallo top KPL table with six points after winning two of their opening matches.

Defending champions, Tusker suffered their second consecutive defeat of the season. They went 2-0 down away in the hands of Thika United at Thika Municipal Stadium.

Eugene Managua and Shami Kibwana scored in each half, handing coach James Nandwa their first win of the season.

Reinstated Muhoroni Youth registered a 1-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks while Sofapaka lost to Sony Sugar.
