Suspended student eyes MCA seat

A student leader from Masinde Muliro wants to vie for MCA seat in Barsombe Ward.

David Kemboi Kipkosgei a Student’s Governing Council Secretary General, has joined the Uasin Gishu county political arena and believes to unseat MCA Obadiah

The ‘mbele iko sawa’ slogan holder has been at crossroads with his varsity administration for contravention of University rules and regulations.

He was suspended from the University for his involvement in demonstrations that took place between October 3 and 5, 2016.

Kemboi however holds that his suspension had nothing to do with the demos but political affiliation.

“The people of Barsombe Ward know what is best for them and I have total trust in them. I urge them to vote in bold leaders who will contribute to bring development projects in the ward,” Kemboi said.
