Since the turn of the year, ODM has been rocked by many challenges that have left the party faithful worried and fuming.
Some have even drawn their own conclusions that the party is losing its national status and may soon be reduced to a Luo party.
While the ODM party is disintegrating and breaking up, the ruling Jubilee coalition is gaining momentum and dislodging the Opposition party from its perceived strongholds.
Coast for instance, which has been dubbed one of ODM and Raila's fan base, has been painted by many as a region for scramble for votes.
While Raila's declaration that he is still the political kingpin seems right, his influence might be in jeopardy following the ongoing rebellions.
