Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua on Friday hit out at former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga after he responded to his tweet.

Mutua had asked Kenyans to rally behind their leaders and pray for them at all times.

“No country has ever progressed by hating its leaders. If you don't like them change them, but once you elect someone into office, for heaven’s sake support them, pray for them and do your part as a citizen to contribute to the development of your country,” wrote the moral cop.

Mutunga quickly responded by saying: “I believe the evidence points to the leaders hating and killing the people they lead as they continue to under-develop the countries they rule.”

This appeared to rattle him a bit as he responded by asking the former CJ to enjoy his pension quietly.

“Wewe nyamaza. Kula pension quietly. Didn't you know this when you were the Chief Justice?,” asked Mutua

Later adding: “Saa zingine @WMutunga huwa mchokozi sana. The other day he called me "Mjuaji"!”

Mutua has been in the headlines of late after he hit out at the content being churned out by some of Kenyan artistes.

He urged musicians to focus on creating clean content as opposed to producing controversial content that will give them popularity for short periods.

“Don't build your reputation and fame on the likes and hypes on social media, these guys can turn up against you and your world will come down collapsing.

“Use your talent positively & responsibly. Build your brand gradually, don't go for an overkill,” he advised.
