A letter to my newly engaged girlfriend

I know this is your first time being engaged with a boy, the opposite species.

I know you're scared of this, us, even though you're physically apt to give it a try.

Mentally you're not ready, you're still fighting with your thoughts on whether this is the right decision to make.

Give me your hand, for I don't know what I'm doing either, I'm just a novice too. But I know together we'll learn the ropes.

We'll go on dates, we'll go watch movies and we'll kiss under the full moon, basically, simulating what we see in the movies.

We'll want to explore our bodies, kill curiosities and test capabilities of our sex organs, but I won't push anything you're not ready for on you.

I won't let pressure from your peers push you into doing things just to prove yourself.

We'll get into fights, squabble endlessly and be in each other's faces, but I won't give up on you.

I'll triple the energy that I put into us fighting to make sure that an hour later we're okay and going stronger than before.

It's won't be utopia, it won't be a replica of a soap tv show, but it will be us.

It won't be an already existing plagiarized thing.

It will originally just be, us.
