The cortege will leave the funeral home at 8.05am on Saturday, February 8, 2020, and will proceed to Parliament Buildings, draped in the National Flag and escorted by Moi’s family.

The solemn procession will take the following route:

Valley road — Kenyatta Avenue — Parliament Road

A military guard of honour will be mounted on Parliament Road for the entry procession.

After lying in State for three days, on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, the procession will make its way from Parliament Buildings to Nyayo Stadium where the National Memorial Service will take place.

The service will be interdenominational presided over by clergy from all denominations.
