Former Machachari actress Wanjiku Mburu aka Mama Baha has vowed to walk to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s office to chat the way forward on how to bring back her brother George Mburu who was abducted in Somalia.

Through her social media pages, Wanjiku urged Kenyans to join her on January 28, 2020, as she marches to Harambee House.

It will be her birthday and she appealed to the nation to assist her as she seeks to bring her brother home.

While speaking during an interview on KTN, Wanjiku revealed that the abductors had demanded $100,000,000 through her brother’s employer in 2014.

She has now started an M-Changa account to fundraise towards the same in the hope of bringing George home.

Through an emotional video uploaded on her Facebook page in December 2019, Mama Baha opened up on the pain her family has gone through since her brother’s abduction and pointed an accusing finger at the government for not doing enough to help her.

“I see my parents breakdown every day and we do not even get counseling.

“George’s son was born in 2013 and although he has not met his dad, he always says he misses him and even drafted the song he will sing once George come back from work…because he believes his dad is away at work.”

Mama Baha asked President Kenyatta to come through for the family and show concern the same way he did when Cuban doctors were abducted in the country.

“I am not here to complain but the government has done nothing. My parents are old and now it’s just me and my sister.

“Not a visit, no counselling…no food. I elected you (President Kenyatta) three times…you went to Cuba to console families of the Cuban doctors yet I am here,” she remarked.
