American rapper Kanye West is set to bring Sunday Service to Africa.

Although some are skeptical about it due to what they term as cultic tendencies, Sunday Service Choir, led by Kanye, has been performing almost every Sunday for close to a year in the US.

Sunday Service combines Kanye’s love for music, fashion and Jesus Christ and seems to target young people.

According to TMZ, Kanye now wants to go global and has set his sights on Europe and Africa.

He intends to record gospel songs with his choir and word has it that he has some ‘unexpected locations’ in mind.

Speaking during Pastor Joel Osteen's service at Lakewood Church in Houston last year, the 42-year-old took the stage after being welcomed by Osteen and spoke at length about his renewed faith, saying the only superstar is Jesus.

“I know that God’s been calling me for a long time and the devil’s been distracting me for a long time,” he said.

“When I was in my lowest points, God was there with me and sending me visions and inspiring me, and I remember sitting in the hospital at UCLA after having a mental breakdown and there’s documentation of me drawing a church and (wanting to) start a church in the middle of Calabasas,” he said.

In his speech, The Jesus Is King rapper also claimed that he has put his rudeness and cockiness behind him and now serving God.

“Because every time I stand up, I feel that I’m standing up and drawing a line in the sand and saying, ‘I’m here in service to God and no weapon formed against me shall prosper.’
