Through social media, a number of users asked the bank to give back the song to the owner as it had already served its purpose.

Others asked the bank to pay the university student the Sh10 million he had demanded to promote local talent.

Johnson Ayioka - Which song nah? That very boring song?? Please equity give them back their song, they are desperate and broke, they want to harvest from where they never planted.

Stella Hydo - All in all, that song is boooring.

Dennoh Tigerwood Mumoh - My landlord is also using that song., come for him.

Babake Caxton - Actually that song is so boring I can advise Equity to give them Back and such another one.

Stee Francis - Hahaa ...let them pay hawawezi ibia wanafunzi.

The Student claimed that he was dragged through a legal process by senior officials of the bank after he first demanded to be paid the Sh10 million for the song.

Mr Obiero further added that his rights were violated when he was locked up in an adult sell at the age of 16 years.
