Neno Evangelism Centre founder Pastor James Ng’ang’a spoke on replacing Interior CS Fred Matiang’i.

Speaking during an interview on radio last week, the preacher stated that it would be interesting to have Matiang’i as President, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko as his deputy and himself as the Interior CS.

He added that his work would be to fight demons as Sonko destroys illegal structures and Matiang’i controls drinking hours.

"My thinking is that if in future, we can have someone like Matiang’i as President and Sonko as his deputy, and they give Ng’ang’a as Interior CS.

"That government will burn all demons. My work would be to fight all evil spirits. Sonko would be destroying illegal structures and buildings.

“Matiang’i would fight bhang and control drinking hours,” he said.

Further, Ng’ang’a expressed his admiration for Matiang’i saying he is looking forward to a time when the CS will order everyone to go to church and people will adhere to his directive.

The preacher is no stranger to controversy and recently he was put on the spot for threatening to render a section of male congregants in his church dysfunctional.

He blamed the series of negative videos being shared on former members of his church who are now in ‘rival churches’.

Further, he maintained that members of his church know him well and that is why they still go back despite all the stones thrown at him.

"My followers know me and that is why they still come to my church. I have so many followers, including women, and I would not, on any day, humiliate any," he said.
