Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi surprised residents of her constituency on Monday when she showed up for a function in school uniform.

Donning a checkered dress and a brown half-sweater, the legislator launched two projects at Mauche Samoei Secondary School and Lulukwet Primary School.

During the event, she stated that her priority is education and investing in proper school infrastructure.

“Commissioning two classrooms each at Mauche Samoei Secondary School and Lulukwet primary school, Mauche ward this afternoon.

“This will boost access to quality education, influence learning and ensure students achieve better grades.

“I support the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC)…that is why I encourage all community and education stakeholders to sit and agree on the best, effective education system that will maximise the potential of our children, secure their future…which is responsive to the needs of industry,” said the MP.

She freely engaged in dance with the students and took time to teach them about the importance of education.
