President Uhuru Kenyatta has built a reputation as one of the ‘care-free’ Presidents the country has had and he added another feather in his cap on Friday as he took photos of his staff planting trees.

Undeterred by glances from guests who graced the ceremony, the Head of State steadied himself as he looked for a perfect shot.

He was in the company of First Lady Margaret Kenyatta as they led State House staff in a tree planting exercise at State House Nairobi gardens.

In the event attended by Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, who is also the Chairperson of the Council of Governors, President Kenyatta called on Governors to spearhead similar exercises in their counties.

He urged Kenyans to take advantage of the current rains to plant more trees in an effort to conserve mother nature.

Online, memes of the President are already doing rounds, just a few days after a clip where he was making a funny face went viral.
