Kenya Power on Wednesday 24 April issued a clarification on the tender advert of an anonymous whistle blower what was placed in one of the local newspaper.

The company had made an invitation to bidders for a number of services among them the provision of ‘Anonymous Whistle-Blowing Services.’

The advert which confused some people who came across it forced Kenya Power to make the clarification.

Using the Twitter handle, Kenya Power said that they were putting up a mechanism for Kenyans to report anonymously to promote ‘ethical culture’.

“CLARIFICATION: We are putting in place an online anonymous reporting mechanism to promote ethical culture & we are the process of procuring the services of an independent professional firm to effect this. Apologies for the confusion arising from tender advert,” read the tweet.
