The Ugandan opposition Member of Parliament Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, alias Bobi Wine has been arrested.
In video footage shared by Asmal Offset Savage On Facebook, police officers were recorded breaking the window of a vehicle carrying Bobi Wine. Inside the vehicle, Bobi looked relaxed as one of his team member records how police are forcibly breaking the windows.
The Kyadodo East Member of Parliament was heading to One Love Beach- Busabala, where he was to hold a press conference about his blocked scheduled, shows Easter in Kampala, Lira, Gulu, and Arua by police.
The police and military are said to have blocked his convoy and whisked him away to an unknown destination. Irate members of the public engaged the military in a running battle as police threw teargas canisters to disperse them.
Bobi Wines trouble began when he openly criticized President Museveni's leadership. He recently tweeted a picture of the Ugandan head of state to be the next dictatorial president to be ousted in Africa after Sudan's immediate president Omar al-Bahir.
