Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga has reiterated that he does not have a problem with Siaya Senator James Orengo.

Speaking to the media on Monday afternoon, Odinga added that Orengo is a loyal member of ODM and he only has positives to say about him.

“What do you mean? What problems? Orengo was campaigning for ODM; Orengo is a very loyal member of ODM.

“There’s nothing, only positive issues about Hon. James Orengo,” said the NASA leader.

The alleged rift was fueled by talk that Odinga felt embarrassed after his party lost in the Ugenya by-election where ODM’s Christopher Karan was floored by David Ochieng of Movement for Democracy and Growth party.

Earlier Odinga had played down the loss saying it was not a big issue.

“Elections are won or lost… So the fact that someone has lost an election it’s not a big deal.

“It’s not a big issue,” he remarked.
