The Speaker, the MCAs, Staff and the entire County Assembly Leadership join the family, friends and people of Bomet in marking the second commemoration of our departed leader, heroine and mentor, the late Hon. Dr. Joyce Laboso.

Though it has been two years since your departure, remembering you is easy and we do it everyday because of your servant leadership and unparalleled devotion to humanity and people of Bomet.

As a seasoned leader, legislator, educationiist and a mother, ou taught us the value of selfless leadership and unity of purpose despite our different political persuasions.

Mama, the last two years has been a difficult period for Bomet County, occassioned by your departure and the negative effects of th Covid-19 pandemic.

But amidst all these, your foundation, your call for servant leadership and your dreamfor our County has continued to inspire the leaders and residents to match on.

As the legislative arm of the County government , we promise to safeguard your legacy and strive to fulfil your dream for our county.

May your soul continue to rest in eternal peace.
