Tribute

As the legends of KTN, sorrow fills our hearts at this sad moment, a sorrow that is deep and personal. Roba has silently closed the door of life and departed from us.

Our lives will empty in the areas that he had brightened for us during our days at the government building that was Nyayo House and later the high-end I&M Building.

Words, even the very best of words, cannot pay tribute or truly capture the sense of loss that we the KTN Legends are feeling today.

Roba was one of the initiators of the big 'KTN Legends' WhatsApp group. A group that brought and kept together all the former and current KTN team into one family. A group that has been resoursful, solid and focussed to date. A group that supports each other's hussle, sharing news and information, triggering conversations and entertainment. Above all it has been a group that has been there for each other during good and sometimes bad times.

The loss is there, it is tangible and real within everyone in the  Legends group. Roba exemplified life,love,laughter and an irreplacablebelief and faith in seeing the best in everything. As we celebrate his life,we cannot help but express the incredible essance and spirit of Roba. He was a loyal colleague to some an a special friend to many. Roba was living proof of how fine a person can be. As somebody who always shunned controversy, the character of the life he lived might be summed up in a few words: he was sincere, he was earnest, he was loyal.

And today we'll grieve for you, and cry for you and even smile because of you. And in all the tomorrows we'll feel you-gone iin some ways, but your presence ever near.

Go well, Roba. Stay well Roba. Always Roba....forever a Legend!
