Wanza and the deceased were both married but their spouses work in Nairobi.
“We didn’t expect this to happen because they have been together for some time. This incident seems to have happened around 10pm yesterday since blood had been washed away by heavy rains that poured by that time,” Mwendwa said.
The deceased’s throat had been slit and he had broken bones and deep cuts on both hands.
“He might have died while protecting himself since you can see well how he was protecting himself from the attackers with the sharp object used to inflict deep wounds on the hands that also have visible broken bones,” he added.
Muthwani Assistant Chief Peter Kisangi confirmed the incident saying the suspects had been arrested and body of the deceased taken to Tawa Hospital Morgue. Police have launched investigations into the brutal murder.
