It shouldn't surprise you if Raila Odinga supports William Ruto in 2027

It might sound far-fetched, but I think there is a possibility of Azimio leader Raila Odinga supporting President William Ruto come 2027 - and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be have to clear the political forest if he wants to be president.

Eleanor Roosevelt asserts, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Thus, in 2027 Raila might remind Luo Nyanza that Ruto supported him in 2007. That way, the insurgence between the ghosts of Luanda Magere and Koitalel arap Samoei will tumble.

It is evident that the Opposition, under the unclear leadership of Kalonzo and Raila, is struggling to keep up with an energetic Ruto and his 'youthful' government. There is indeed tension in the opposition given that politicians like Kalonzo expected Raila to retire and activate them to wheel the opposition. However, the breaking news is that Baba is not retiring soon.

Since Kalonzo knows the Bible, a political oracle is sent to him using an advanced Sunday school story. When the biblical Joshua brought the 12 tribes of Israel to Canaan, the family of Joseph summoned Joshua and asked him in his face, "Why have you given us only one allotment and one portion for an inheritance? We are numerous people, and the Lord has blessed us abundantly."

Then Joshua answered, "If you are so numerous and mighty enough, go up into the forest and clear land for yourselves; defeat the giants...Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours." Isn't this recorded in the annals of the book of Joshua, Chapter 17, verses 14 to 18? Isn't this the message that the political heavens have foreseen Raila telling Kalonzo in 2027?

It is indisputable that Raila is no longer as energetic as he was in previous years. But, though his body is unwilling, his spirit is alive and kicking. Kalonzo has been intentional in his politicking more than ever in his losing cycles. He hopes that Raila's geese are cooked-that Baba has slim chances of ever being on the ballot.

Verily, I tell Kalonzo that Raila's chances of being on the ballot might have gone, but he is a political principality-he will be needed in 2027 to king-make. This will be so given that three-quarters of ODM elected politicians are nothing without his endorsement. So, they will do anything to have his hands up until the last minute-even if he will do it while seated.

So, didn't I say here that in 2027, Luo Nyanza would be to Kalonzo what Central was to Ruto in 2022? Yes, Kalonzo will split Nyanza come 2027. A significant chunk will revolt against Raila, preferring Kalonzo.

Raila will strive to prove to his people that he still reigns and might support Ruto to tame Kalonzo. Thus, Raila's endorsement of Ruto will shock the flickers of Lake Victoria.

Therefore, Baba will face opposition in his own turf for the first time in his political career. Raila will break the political jinx in Luo Nyanza, and they will return their hearts to their Kalenjin brothers. Furthermore, he will resolve to repay the Kalenjin nation for supporting him in 2007.

Kalonzo will therefore lose, and Raila will be in the second government of Ruto starting 2027-this is more bankable than the exorbitant dollar of the United States. Are the people of Nyanza aware? No! They will read this and wobble their heads, but that's how politics work. It must happen because political heavens are not a respecter of persons.

Raila has propensity for power. Performers attract Raila. So, if Ruto does well, he will acknowledge him, call Bill his mentee and hug him. Then, he will be convinced that his chances are gone but not limited.

This is a message to Kalonzo. It's time to grow your legs if you want to walk the political Canaan. If you still wish to be president, go to the mountain, fight the giants and get whatever land you want-power is taken. If I said something of bad luck to Stevo, I spit that saliva!
