The Music Industry Association of Kenya chair Arthur 'Mopao' Kamau, popularly known as Arthur K, is in mourning following the death of his father.

His father, Michael Ngeru, was the senior reverend and founder of the Kenya Christian Outreach Church, USA. Reverend Ngeru resided in the U.S for several years.

He leaves behind a widow, his wife of over 40 years, Ms Susan Wambui Ngeru, five children, and several grandchildren.

The reverend died peacefully at his home in Kenya after three months of illness. He will be buried on Monday, April 12, 2021.

In a statement, Authur K described his father as a role model who taught him all that he is to date.

"We have lost a role model, our spiritual father, and a great community leader. Peaceful, calm, and orderly man of God He has indeed gone to be with the God he preached about to many all his life."

May the family find solace at this trying time.
