NAHNA
Elizabeth Adhiambo (Nahna) is the new musical queen in Kisumu.

Her music star is bright. Forget the Swahili, sheng and English songs that rock airwaves, her afro-fusion song Paro (Memories), done by Ulopa Records has earned her space in national radio and TV stations.

She recently shared a stage with internationally renowned musicians Oliver Mtukudzi and Diamond Platnumz (Nasibu Abdul).

Her other songs are Neko (Madness) Wanatok Tok, Hera mudho (Love is blind) and K-Town. Nahna has held the Best Female Artiste Vybez Awards title for the last three consecutive years.

KYSH
Kysh Michael Roberts is the most sought after artiste in Kisumu County.

He graces major corporate functions because besides singing, he is a great choreographer who moves the crowd and leaves them yearning for more.

Formerly a member of Yawa Dance Crew, Kysh’s major hits include The World is Mine, Eye Sore and Free among others.

The RnB musician who is also founder of Kisumu Fashion Week has won many accolades courtesy of Vybez Awards.

He was crowned Best Live Performer in 2015, Best RnB and Best Male Artiste in 2014, and Best RnB Artiste in 2013 in the Western region contests.

XPAT MKWANJA
Xpat Mkwanja, also better known as Richard Mattendechere is known for the controversial themes his songs are based on.

With over 20 songs on his plate, Nyama Kwa Nyama, a song that ridicules youngsters who have unprotected sex was both celebrated and scorned in equal measure.

He is at it again with Sponsor featuring Niffah. Other songs that have received considerable airplay are Money Sense, Tear it Up, and Haiya Makanjo.

Two weeks ago, his song Maendeleo won in the Best Collabo category at the Kisumu Teeniez Choice Awards (KTCA) 2016 awards.

Earlier this year, Xpat was crowned as Kisumu's Best Act 2016 during the Jumia Kenya Glamour Awards.

The band members comprising Stanley Otieno, Alex Bob Ogolla and Allan Omondi are a versatile team offering an alternative form and feel of entertainment culturally.
