Olympic athlete runs, leaves begging reporters with food bill in Eldoret restaurant

An Olympic athlete recently walked out on hungry journalists at a popular restaurant in Eldoret. The journalists had called the athlete for a chat and all was well until one of the scribes known for his begging antics asked the elite runner for a small favour.

The athlete simply walked out as if he was going to answer a phone call and never returned. The journos tried in vain to sweet talk the facility’s staff that their ‘friend’ would return but the waiters would hear none of their pleas.

The members of the Fourth Estate were forced to do a mchango to foot the bill before storming out in a huff.
