How Uber has mastered technology for best services

A few months ago, I visited Uber offices along Ngong road and I was impressed by their world class services.

Instead of being attended to randomly, I had to feed my bio-data into a tablet computer at the reception.

This information was then relayed to their servers and as I waited in the lounge, a lady came out from the office and called out our names in the order we had arrived there.

Uber has leveraged technology to revolutionize how humans and machines interact to improve and gauge productivity at work stations.

Firms which depend heavily on technology enjoy a vantage over their competitors that rely mostly on manual systems which are prone to manipulation and very inefficient most of the time.

Technology boosts efficiency, reduces lead time and allows for a seamless connection between business processes.

With a system intertwined in technology, businesses can pin-point hitches and eliminate bottle-necks before they halt productivity.

All the factors of production borrow a thing or two from technology to optimize efficiency.

Vision 2030 key pillars are anchored on technology to realize full potential of expected deliverables.

As a people we should not fight technology but instead focus more on nurturing and polishing technology related talent.
